Tiny Monster Productions was founded by three cinematographers in 2015 with a simple vision: create a production services company that offers streamlined and effective rental solutions while catering to the specific needs of each production. No more juggling and coordinating with multiple vendors for every project.

John is a Director of Photography hailing from the Chicago area but has called Los Angeles home since 2010. He jokingly refers to the Delta Sky Lounge as his second home due to the extensive travel for shoots.

He prides himself on his skilled expertise in steadicam, gimbals, and drones. John is a FAA Certified Drone Pilot.

When not shooting, John can be found mountain biking, snowboarding, or fine-tuning his BBQ recipes for when he retires and opens a food truck.

Nate Horowitz
Partner

Nate is a Chicago native who prides himself on strong collaboration and the ability to work with the elements of a story to find the best look for each project. His visual artistry runs in the family; the support of his talented grandmother and mother led Nate to find a passion in filmmaking.

Nate’s career began at Disney, where he learned to elevate his work to the high standards of the iconic brand. He continued to hone his craft with brands like Ford, Anheuser Busch, and Best Buy. Nate has also filmed TV shows for multiple networks including ESPN, Amazon, ABC, and OWN. Brianna grew up in Seattle and graduated from Washington State University with a BA in Broadcast Production. She quickly fled to warm and sunny Los Angeles soon after graduation.  Since moving to California, Brianna has spent most of her time traveling the world as an Assistant Camera and Camera Operator for multiple reality and docs-follow shows. She jokes that she spent the last decade paying LA rent prices simply to store her belongings.

Brianna brings 10 years of on-location gear troubleshooting expertise to the Tiny Monster team. From a tour bus for Demi Lovato to the streets of London for TLC to knee-deep mud in the Amazon Jungle for Discovery, Brianna found herself drawn to the technical troubleshooting side of the camera world. She prides herself on her ability to problem solve under pressure and try new ideas until an answer is reached.

Brianna enjoys exploring nature and camping in her “Van Life” Promaster with her newly found free time since getting off the road.
